How do I speak to a human at Labcorp? ›

The toll-free telephone number for Patient Billing is 800-845-6167.

To schedule an appointment, go to our Labs & Appointments page and search for the patient service center nearest you. Once a site is chosen, click “Schedule an Appointment” and follow the instructions. Please keep a copy of your confirmation number.

Labcorp's patient portal allows you to view, download and print your lab test results. You can also pay your bill online and schedule appointments within the portal. If you already have an account, login to see your test results. Or register for an account.

Go to patient.labcorp.com on your desktop or download the Labcorp Patient™ mobile app from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Click Register Now. Enter your personal information in the fields provided. Ensure that there are no spaces before or after your name.

If your health care benefits do not cover clinical laboratory testing services, you will have to pay for the tests performed by Labcorp before specimen collection services are performed.

Processing and Results

Depending on the complexity of the test being performed, it could take a few hours or as long as several days before your results are reported to your doctor. You may access your lab results in the Labcorp patient portal after they have been reported to your doctor.

Our locations are generally busiest from opening until 10:00 AM. If withholding food and/or beverages prior to the test is not required, you may wish to schedule an appointment during off-peak hours.

Currently the average time to deliver results is 1-2 days from when your sample is received at the lab. Our labs process samples seven days a week.

Some test results are not released to your MyChart account because of their sensitive nature. Your doctor determines which types of test results are able to be accessed through MyChart and which might require an in person conversation.

Are Labcorp blood test results accurate? ›

However, the accuracy of Labcorp test results — for both at-home and in-person testing — is never mentioned in complaints. The test results provided by Labcorp appear to be accurate and trustworthy.

Remember there are many reasons why a healthcare provider will contact you after a medical test. If results are concerning, they may call you or have a receptionist call to schedule an appointment. 15 A healthcare provider may also call to assure you everything is okay or discuss any needed follow-up tests.
